In January 2015, she helped establish Called to Peace Ministries to promote domestic violence awareness, particularly within the faith community. Come hear her powerful testimony of being a victim of domestic violence at the hands of her husband for decades to now spearheading a ministry that is educating as well as equipping pastors and leaders.

CHRISSY TOLEDO
Chrissy is a Musician, Writer, Pastor’s Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Born and raised in New York City as a pastor’s daughter, she accepted the Lord at a very young age. She was blessed to grow up in the Brooklyn Tabernacle, pastored by her father Jim Cymbala, an inner-city church with people from all walks of life. Chrissy grew up loving her world; however, as a pre-teen, something began to shift in her heart. Unbeknownst to her family and friends, this struggle eventually set Chrissy down a road of turning her back on everyone she loved.  Chrissy will share the secret struggles that led her to making wrong decisions, and the incredible miracle that took place as a result of desperate prayer.

At the I Am His conference last June Naghmeh addressed publicly her story of years of abuse and her unwanted divorce. She shared her story of how God saved an ordinary immigrant Muslim girl from Iran and used her to proclaim His gospel, even before kings and rulers.

Persecution, abuse, a broken heart, divorce and Gods amazing grace is powerfully woven all throughout her testimony and has led her to becoming a cofounder of Tahrir Alnisa Foundation (TAF) which means “ setting women free.” Come hear her incredible story of redemption and how God has been using all the things meant to destroy her for His Glory!
